The Febco 1/2" LF850 Lead Free Small Double Check Valve Assembly (DCVA) is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and backpressure. This fully testable backflow preventer is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as non-health hazards.

The 850 Master Series devices feature a single cover, inline check design, and a compact modular system that facilitates easy maintenance with a single access cover for in-line repairs.

  • Constructed with a Lead Free* cast copper silicon alloy body for durability and compliance with reduced lead content requirements.
  • Equipped with 1/2" Female NPT inlet/outlet end connections (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1) for easy installation.
  • Includes quarter-turn, full port ball valves for shutoff.
  • Features top-mounted test cocks for simplified testing.
  • Incorporates two in-line independent, positive seating check modules with replaceable seats and seat discs; check modules are completely rebuildable.
  • A freeze sensor connection kit is available separately to activate a monitoring system that triggers alerts for low and freezing temperatures.
