Description

The Febco 4 inch LF850 MasterSeries Double Check Valve Assembly with NRS gate valves is designed to protect potable water supplies from non-health hazard pollutants. Its lead-free ductile iron body is coated with ArmorTek®, a patented three-part advanced epoxy system to resist microbial-induced and electrochemical corrosion. This assembly prevents backflow from backsiphonage and backpressure in non-toxic applications. It features flanged end connections, stainless steel check components, and is serviceable in-line without special tools. This 4 inch lead free Febco MasterSeries LF850 Double Check Valve Assembly is an in-line design backflow preventer. It is specifically engineered for non-health hazard applications, preventing the backflow of pollutants that are objectionable but not toxic from entering the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure. It is ideal for protecting non-health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance.

The assembly features an epoxy coated ductile iron body with flanged end connections, two in-line independent check valves, replaceable stainless steel check seats, test cocks, and Non-Rising Stem (NRS) resilient wedge gate valves. The coating utilizes ArmorTek®, a patented three-part advanced epoxy system, to limit microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and protect exposed metal substrates. The LF850 series is designed for in-line serviceability, requiring no special tools for maintenance.
