This 4 inch lead free MasterSeries® configurable design double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed for non-health hazard applications. It prevents the backflow of pollutants that are objectionable but not toxic, from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure.

The LF870V is an N-Pattern device that can be reconfigured for a vertical offset pattern. It features an epoxy coated, ductile iron body with bronze check assemblies and a two cover design with replaceable seats. No special tools are required for servicing the 870V series.

The assembly's ductile iron body is coated with ArmorTek®, a patented three-part advanced epoxy system engineered to reduce microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and protect exposed metal substrate. This product features Lead Free* construction, with the wetted surface contacted by consumable water containing less than 0.25% of lead by weight.
