Description

The Watts 1/2" LF008PCQT is a Lead Free anti-siphon, spill-resistant vacuum breaker backflow preventer designed for indoor point-of-use applications. It effectively prevents contaminated water from entering the potable water supply due to backsiphonage. The Watts LF008PCQT is designed for point-of-use installation to prevent backsiphonage into the potable water supply.

When factory installed and deck or machine mounted on equipment, the critical level of the device must be at least 1 inch (25mm) above the flood rim. If field applied for general plumbing applications, the critical level must be a minimum of 6 inches (150mm) above the flood rim.

Connections

  • A strainer is recommended to be installed ahead of the backflow preventer to prevent fouling of the check assembly.
