The Watts 3/8" LF008PC-QT is a Lead Free* anti-siphon, spill-resistant vacuum breaker backflow preventer designed for indoor point-of-use applications. It prevents the reverse flow of polluted water into potable water supplies due to backsiphonage. This unit features a durable Lead Free* cast copper silicon alloy body with an internal polymer coating, thermoplastic check and float assembly, stainless steel springs, and quarter-turn Tee handle shutoffs. It operates at a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI and a temperature range of 33°F to 180°F. Ideal for general plumbing on machines or equipment, it ensures water safety. Approved by IAPMO, ASSE 1056, CSA B64.4, and NSF. (*The wetted surface contains less than 0.25% lead by weight.)
