Description

The Watts LFN9-CD is a 3/4 inch Lead Free Field Testable Hose Connection Backflow Preventer, designed to prevent contamination of potable water from backsiphonage and low-head backpressure. It features a durable lead-free brass body with two independent check valves and an atmospheric vent. This device is in-line field testable, non-removable, and manually drainable for freeze protection. It can be installed vertically or horizontally and is ideal for hose connections at service sinks, chemical dispensers, sill cocks, and frost proof hydrants. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 125 psi and temperature of 180°F.

This Watts LFN9-CD backflow preventer features a 3/4 inch standard female hose thread inlet and a 3/4 inch standard male hose thread outlet. It is designed to be screwed directly to a standard sill cock, yard hydrant, or wall hydrant. For proper installation, use only with approved hose bibbs or hose fittings that have four or more full American National Hose (NH) threads.
