The FEBCO Series 860 is a 1 1/2 inch bronze reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly designed for health-hazard applications. It prevents the reverse flow of toxic fluids into potable water supplies due to backsiphonage or backpressure. This assembly features a durable bronze body, threaded quarter turn union ball valves, and four test cocks. This 1 1/2 inch FEBCO Series 860 Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids from entering the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure.
It is suitable for non-potable service applications such as irrigation systems, fire lines, boiler feed, industrial processing, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants, adhering to national plumbing codes and water authority requirements.
