Additional Details

This 10 inch stainless steel reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of contaminated water into the potable water supply, ideal for health hazard cross-connections and other contaminants at the service line entrance.

It features a compact and short lay length design with a single access cover, offering reliable protection against backsiphonage and backpressure.

Construction & Features

  • Lightweight stainless steel body: Provides long-term corrosion resistance, maximum strength, and is half the weight of competitive designs, reducing installation and shipping costs.
  • Domestic outside stem and yoke (OSY) resilient seated gate valves.
  • Spring-loaded cam-check valves: Offer maximum flow at low pressure drop and require no special tools for servicing.
  • Pressure differential relief valve with a balanced rolling diaphragm to eliminate sliding seals and lower maintenance costs.
  • Top-mounted test cocks.
  • Compact construction for smaller enclosures and easy retrofitting.
  • Integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect continuous discharge from the relief valve.
  • Flood alert feature activated with an add-on sensor connection kit, compatible with BMS, cellular network communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor for integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.

NOTICE: An add-on connection kit is required to activate the flood sensor. Without the connection kit, the flood sensor is a passive component that has no communication with any other device. The flood sensor does not replace the need to comply with all required instructions, codes, and regulations related to installation, operation, and maintenance of this product, including the need to provide proper drainage in the event of a discharge.
