Lay Length & Configuration

  • This 10 inch backflow preventer is designed with a longer gate-to-gate length, enabling direct drop-in replacement for competitor’s Z-pattern valves.
  • It supports vertical up Z-pattern installation.

Flood Sensor Connectivity

  • The integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology requires an add-on connection kit (sold separately) for activation and alert functionality.
  • Connection kit options allow integration with Building Management Systems (BMS), cellular communication, or the Sensor Control Monitor for RS-485 Modbus and Wi-Fi connectivity via the Nexa® platform.

Additional Details

The FEBCO MasterSeries LF880WZ Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly is a 10 inch lead-free backflow preventer designed to protect potable drinking water systems from high hazard/toxic fluids due to backpressure and backsiphonage conditions in industrial installations and applications. This assembly features a Z-pattern orientation and a longer gate-to-gate length for drop-in replacement of competitor’s Z-pattern valves.

Features

  • Ductile iron body coated with ArmorTek®, a patented three-part advanced epoxy system, to resist microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and protect exposed metal substrate.
  • Lead Free construction to comply with low lead installation requirements (wetted surface contains less than 0.25% lead by weight).
  • Stainless steel relief valve seat and stainless steel check components for maximum performance and durability, ensuring greater dependability and extended valve life.
  • Includes a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
  • When paired with an add-on connection kit (sold separately), the flood sensor relays signals for multichannel alerts (call, email, text) to notify personnel of potential flooding.
  • Inline serviceable assembly requires no special tools for maintenance of the pressure differential relief valve and check modules.
  • Domestic OSY resilient seated gate valves and test cocks.
  • Modular and repairable pressure differential relief valve.
  • Vertical up Z-pattern installation.
  • Captured modular spring assembly; clapper check assembly.
  • Reversible and replaceable discs.
  • Field replaceable seats.

The flood sensor requires an add-on connection kit to be active. Without it, the flood sensor is a passive component that does not communicate with any other device. The information provided is not intended to replace full product installation and safety information; users must thoroughly read all installation instructions and consult governing authorities for local installation requirements.
