This 2 1/2 inch Lead Free Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent polluted water from entering potable water supplies due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure. It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as health hazards.

Construction & Materials

  • Features a cast iron body with a patented ArmorTek® 3-part advanced epoxy coating system, engineered to resist both microbial induced corrosion (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion.
  • Equipped with UL and FM Approved domestic Outside Stem and Yoke (OSY) resilient seated gate valves for reliable shutoff.
  • Includes two in-line independent check valves, captured springs, and replaceable check seats for ease of maintenance.
  • An internal relief valve is integrated for reduced space requirements and installation clearances.
