Item number F1316.

Help Me Connect

Connections

  • This backflow preventer assembly features NPT (National Pipe Taper) threaded end connections, allowing for secure attachment to corresponding threaded pipe systems.
  • The integral flood sensor can be connected to an add-on sensor connection kit for enhanced monitoring, offering compatibility with BMS (Building Management Systems), cellular communication, or the Sensor Control Monitor for integration with RS-485 Modbus or Nexa® platform Wi-Fi.

Installation Considerations

  • A minimum of 12 inches clearance to a fixed structure is required for proper installation and access.
  • Ensure the air gap drain line terminates above a floor drain designed to handle normal discharge and nuisance spitting. The floor drain size may need to be adequate to prevent water damage from catastrophic failure conditions; do not reduce the size of the drain line from the air gap fitting.
