Installation Guidelines
- This backflow preventer is approved and designed for horizontal installation only. Ensure it is installed in strict accordance with the direction of the flow arrow for optimal performance.
- When installing a drain line for Series 957 backflow preventers, use a 957AG air gap. Attach the air gap brackets directly onto the flood sensor.
Sensor Connectivity
- The integrated SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor can extend its monitoring capabilities with an add-on sensor connection kit (available separately).
- This kit enables integration with a Sensor Control Monitor, allowing maintenance alerts to be delivered to Building Automation Systems (BAS) via RS-485 Modbus or to the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi connectivity.
