It protects potable water systems from high hazard (toxic) contamination. Featuring a durable ductile iron body with patented ArmorTek® advanced epoxy coating, it offers superior corrosion resistance. This assembly includes a SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor and robust stainless-steel relief valve seat and check components for maximum performance. Flood Sensor Connection

This backflow preventer includes a SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. To activate the flood sensor's full alerting capabilities, an add-on connection kit is required. Without this kit, the sensor functions as an alarm management device providing basic connectivity. Retrofit sensor connection kits are available for existing installations. These kits enable integration with a Building Automation System (BAS) via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
