The FEBCO MasterSeries LF886V Reduced Pressure Zone Detector Assembly, 3 inch, is designed to protect potable drinking water systems from backpressure and backsiphonage conditions in high hazard and toxic applications. This assembly is suitable for use in industrial installations where local codes mandate protection from non-potable water being pumped or siphoned back into the system.

This lead-free backflow preventer features ArmorTek® coating for advanced corrosion resistance and a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.

Construction & Features

  • Ductile iron body construction for main valve and relief valve, coated with patented ArmorTek® three-part advanced epoxy system to resist microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and protect exposed metal substrate.
  • Lead Free construction, with wetted surfaces containing less than 0.25% lead by weight, complies with low lead installation requirements.
  • Stainless steel relief valve seat and check components ensure maximum performance and durability.
  • Inline serviceable design for both main valve and 3/4 inch bypass assembly, requiring no special tools.
  • Bypass assembly includes a CFM water meter to detect potential underground leaks or unauthorized water usage.
  • Modular and repairable pressure differential relief valve, clapper check assembly, captured O-ring design, and field replaceable seats and discs.
  • Flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology detects excessive water discharges from the relief valve and can relay signals for multichannel alerts (call, email, text) when activated with an add-on connection kit.
  • Includes OSY resilient wedge gate shutoff valves and four properly located resilient seated ball valve test cocks.
