Description

This 4 inch WATTS Series 957 Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly backflow preventer protects potable water systems from contamination by preventing backpressure or backsiphonage. It features a durable 304 (Schedule 40) stainless steel housing and UL and FM approved OSY shutoff valves. An integrated SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor detects excessive water discharges from the relief valve, providing alerts when paired with a connection kit. Its compact design is 70% lighter than traditional models, ensuring easy installation and serviceability. Rated for up to 175 psi, this assembly is approved by ASSE, AWWA, CSA B64.4, UL, FM, and NSF. This 4 inch reduced pressure zone assembly backflow preventer provides protection to the potable water system from contamination in accordance with national plumbing codes. It helps stop the reverse flow of liquids due to backpressure or backsiphonage, where potential health hazards exist.

The assembly includes a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When paired with an add-on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events.
