This 6 inch reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly prevents the reverse flow of hazardous fire protection substances and non-potable water into your potable water supply due to backsiphonage or backpressure. It is ideal for continuous pressure piping applications and cross-connections identified as health hazards, or from other contaminants found at the service line entrance.

This compact, modular design comes without shutoff valves and features a lightweight stainless steel body, test cocks, thermoplastic cam-check valves, and a corrosive-resistant stainless steel bottom-mounted relief valve. It includes a cubic feet per minute (CFM) meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use.

A flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology is integrated to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When paired with an add-on connection kit, the sensor activates to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include compatibility with BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor, enabling integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
