The 6 inch AMES 5000SS Reduced Pressure Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to prevent backsiphonage and backpressure of hazardous materials into potable water supplies. It is ideal for continuous pressure piping applications and cross-connections in health hazard scenarios, including fire protection, irrigation, and industrial processing.

This assembly comes without shutoff valves and includes a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive relief valve discharges, and a gallon per minute (GPM) meter for detecting underground leaks or unauthorized water use. An add-on connection kit (sold separately) is required to activate the flood sensor's alert features.
