This 6 inch N pattern reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly helps stop the reverse flow of liquids due to backpressure or backsiphonage, where potential health hazard exists. Extremely compact and lighter than traditional designs, it is approved for horizontal N pattern installation.

This assembly consists of a stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check valves, domestic outside stem and yoke (OSY) resilient seated gate valves, test cocks, a corrosive-resistant bottom mounted pressure relief valve, and a cubic foot per minute meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use. It features an integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
