This 6 inch Watts Series 957 Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) assembly backflow preventer provides essential protection for potable water systems, preventing contamination from backsiphonage or backpressure in health hazard applications. Its extremely compact and lightweight design is approved for horizontal Z-pattern installation, ensuring proper flow direction.

The assembly features a durable 304 (Schedule 40) stainless steel housing and sleeve, torsion spring check valves, and resilient seated gate valves with outside stem and yoke.

Flood Detection System

• Includes a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
• An add-on sensor connection kit is required to activate the flood sensor and enable communication.
• Integrates with the Sensor Control Monitor to deliver maintenance alerts to BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Compatible with BMS and cellular network communication when paired with the connection kit.
