Help Me Connect
This 8 inch reduced pressure detector assembly is designed for horizontal N pattern installation. It features groove fittings that allow for integral pipeline adjustment, simplifying installation into your piping system.
The integrated flood sensor can be activated using an add-on connection kit (sold separately) to enable communication. Connection kit options include those compatible with Building Management Systems (BMS), cellular networks, or the Sensor Control Monitor. The Sensor Control Monitor specifically allows integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS) via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi connectivity, providing remote flood alerts.

Additional Details
This 8 inch reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly helps stop the reverse flow of liquids due to backpressure or backsiphonage, preventing potential health hazards. It is extremely compact and lighter than traditional designs, approved for horizontal N pattern installation.
This assembly features a durable stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check valves, and resilient seated gate valves with outside stem and yoke (OSY). It also includes test cocks, a corrosive-resistant bottom mounted cast stainless steel pressure relief valve, and a gallon per minute (GPM) meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use.
Flood Detection & Alerts
- Equipped with a flood sensor featuring SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
- When paired with an add-on connection kit (sold separately), the sensor activates to relay alerts for potential flooding events.
- Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor, enabling integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
