This 8 inch Watts 957Z-OSY Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) Backflow Preventer protects potable water systems from contamination caused by backsiphonage or backpressure. Featuring a durable 304 stainless steel housing, UL Classified and FM Approved OSY resilient seated gate valves, and a bottom-mounted cast stainless steel relief valve, it ensures reliable operation. The compact design allows for installation in smaller enclosures. Approved for horizontal Z-pattern installation, it withstands a maximum working pressure of 175 psi and a temperature range of 33°F to 140°F. Groove fittings provide easy installation and pipeline adjustment.
