This 8 inch Lead Free* Reduced Pressure Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly protects potable water systems from contamination in accordance with national plumbing codes.

It is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure in health hazard applications, such as on fire sprinkler systems.

• A flood sensor is integrated into the relief valve to detect excessive water discharges. An add-on connection kit is required to activate the flood sensor and enable flood alerts with BMS and cellular network communication. Without the connection kit, the sensor is a passive component.
