This 1/2 inch FEBCO Series 860 Reduced Pressure Zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to protect drinking water supplies from dangerous cross-connections. It prevents the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and backpressure, in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements.
